This will, of course, only change the behaviour when opening the terminal via keyboard shortcut. Bind it to Ctrl+ Alt+ T (or any other key combination).desktop file, for example: gnome-terminal -geometry 30x30+100+0 To get the default behavior of opening the applications in the top left, you can set it back like this: gsettings set center-new-windows false. ![]() If you prefer the terminal, you can do the same using this command: gsettings set center-new-windows true. ![]()
